Within the framework of "MEDIAFEST-2025" in Nakhchivan, media researchers met with teachers and students at NSU

          Within the framework of "MEDIAFEST-2025" on May 31 at Nakhchivan State University, Professor of Baku State University Gulu Maharramli and Dean of the Faculty of Journalism of Baku State University Vugar Zifaroglu met with teachers and students.

In the meeting, Rector of NSU Elbrus Isayev talked about teaching of Journalism specialty at the university, Media Center, University Television, "Nuhchikhan" radio, "Yeni fikir" newspaper, relations with BSU, joint activities planned in the future. He said that the meeting of media researchers with teachers and students at the university is important in the remarkable calendar celebrating the 150th anniversary of the national press of Azerbaijan, and presented gifts to the guests as souvenirs of the meeting.

Media researchers shared their academic and practical experiences in the field of journalism with teachers and students. Professor Gulu Muharramli highlighted the importance of following ethical rules in journalism, emphasizing the public responsibility of the journalist and the importance of accuracy of information in modern times. He also advised the students to form their academic approaches correctly in order to develop professionally in the media world.

Vugar Zifaroglu, by conducting detailed analyzes of the technical and editorial aspects of news production, urged the students to master the precise and scientific approaches of professional journalism. According to him, the academic side of journalism should not be limited to daily activities, every journalist should be equipped with scientific knowledge. These meetings were an exchange of experience for young journalists.

Let's note that "MEDIAFEST-2025" was held on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Azerbaijani national press according to the relevant Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
