A concert program dedicated to May 28 - Independence Day was held under the organization of the "Music Education" chair of the Faculty of Arts of Nakhchivan State University.

First, the dear memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who died for the Motherland was commemorated with a minute of silence. Then the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.

Nakhchivan State University vice-rector for social issues and public relations Nicat Yagubov greeted the guests on behalf of the rector of NSU He emphasized that the conservatory has produced very talented and capable students. The vice-rector highly appreciated the participation of NSU students as well as students of the International Cambridge School under NSU in the concert program. In the artistic part, the "Sound of Harmony" vocal group of the "Music Education" department, students of the university and students of the International Cambridge School under NSU performed patriotic musical numbers. "Azerbaijan" by Aygun Samadzade, "Suit of the Motherland" by Said Rustamov, "Thank you, O Motherland" by Elshan Nicat, "Prelude" by Farhad Badalbeyli, "My Azerbaijan" by Alibaba Mammadov, "Alagoz" by Jahangir Jahangirov, "Alagoz" by Vagif Mustafazade were performed in the concert program under the artistic direction of Sevinj Musayeva, the head teacher of the "Music Education" chair of the Faculty of Arts.
