A scientific-practical conference on "Digitalization in the innovative economy: digital accounting, modern financial mechanisms, realities and prospects" was held at NSU

At Nakhchivan State University "Innodigitalization in the global economy: digital accounting modern financial mechanisms, realities and prospects" was a scientific-practical conference. The conference took place in the assembly hall of Nakhchivan State Technical College operating under Nakhchivan State University. Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Doctor of Philosophy in Economics, Associate Professor Ashraf Alekbarov moderated the conference Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Finance Minister Hasan Ismayilov, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Acting Minister Rahid Alakbarli, rofficials, NSU teaching staff, as well as students participated.

Rector Elbrus Isayev highly appreciated the organization of such meetings and noted that there will be more events in this direction in 2025. Rector emphasized that in the era of the fourth industrial revolution modern challenges require learning and taking advantage of digital skills. At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that Nakhchivan State University is rapidly moving towards digitization. Elbrus Isayev said that NDU is an exemplary higher education institution in the country in this regard, which was the first to switch to the electronic education system, for the first time in the country to use the smart student card "Student Plus", hybrid education was established in the teaching process and scientific research, and the journal of scientific works was electronic. The Rector also gave information about the Innovation Center at NSU, which will be implemented this year within the framework of the "State Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for 2023-2027", and noted that the goal is to prepare innovative personnel in line with the strategy of digital skills in the country, meeting the requirements of the labor market.

Further, Finance Minister of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Hasan Ismayilov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Rahid Alakbarli spoke. The speakers talked about the application of digitization in the economy of Azerbaijan, the positive results of statistical data and analyzes in this field, the attention paid to digital education, digital transformation, cyber security, artificial intelligence and innovative innovations.
