151st year of National Press at NSU - journalists were awarded, reconstructed studio of NSU TV was put into use

An event was held on the occasion of the National Press and Journalism Day at Nakhchivan State University. Journalists were awarded at the event with the participation of media representatives of various media organizations and higher education institutions, as well as employees of the "Journalism and Digital Media" department, and the reconstructed studio of NDU TV was put into use. Rector Elbrus Isayev said that the media sector in Azerbaijan is always in the center of attention of the state. In the speeches of President Ilham Aliyev, special importance was attached to the development of the national press, strengthening of professional journalism and ensuring information security, the rector noted that in modern times, the media has a great responsibility for correct and prompt information of the society. He pointed out that training is being carried out, new projects are being implemented in the direction of the development of digital journalism, and dual diploma programs with Chinese universities are being planned in this field. radio and "Yeni fikir" newspaper play an important role in operational coverage of the university's activities. The Rector emphasized that the material and technical base of the Media Center and NSU Publishing House has been renewed in recent years. they expressed their gratitude for the attention and emphasized that the strong personnel potential formed at Nakhchivan State University has made an important contribution to the development of the regional media, and the cooperation between the higher education institution and media organizations has yielded successful results.
