Sara Azimova, the editor-in-chief of the "Sharq gyaysi" newspaper at NSU, met with student-journalists

Honored journalist of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Eastern Gate" Sara Azimova met with students studying "Journalism", "Teaching Azerbaijani language and literature" and "Philology (Azerbaijani language and literature)" at Nakhchivan State University. The meeting was organized by the Student Scientific Society of the higher educational institution.

Vice Chancellor of the University for Social Affairs and Public Relations title="Nijat Yagubov's profile">Nijat Yagubov made a speech and gave information about personnel training of students studying Journalism. The vice-rector said that NSU's journalist students are working in the leading media outlets of the country and the autonomous republic. It was emphasized that NSU's graduates are also working in the "Eastern Gate" newspaper of the autonomous republic  , and the participation of the graduates selected with their signatures as guests at the higher education institution is a successful initiative. Nijat Yagubov also noted that there is effective cooperation between NSU and the newspaper "Sharq qagysi" and said that this meeting will support the stimulation of students' interest in print media.

Student Scientific Society Chairman Yusif Mirzazade noted that such meetings and trainings are held at the higher educational institution  in order to continuously increase students' theoretical and practical knowledge, to discover and develop their potential, and informed the meeting participants about the visiting journalists. brought to attention the information about the working principle. Guest journalists talked about fundamental rules on topics such as professional ethics, style of writing in print media, use of reliable sources, prevention of misinformation, as well as   formation of reader interest, shared their professional experience with students and told future colleagues about career opportunities in this field.

At the meeting moderated by student-journalist and employee of "East Gate" newspaper Rafig Tahmazov  the opinions of the teachers of the "Journalism and Literature of Foreign Countries" department were listened to, and the questions addressed by participating students and social media about journalism were answered. 14.0pt">Fakhriya Sayyadova
