International scientific-practical conference on "Innovations in Dentistry" was held at NSU

International scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Faculty of Medicine of Nakhchivan State University on "Innovations in Dentistry" was held. The conference was jointly organized by NSU and Azerbaijan Public Union of Implantologists.

          First, the dear memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence, and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.>Nakhchivan State University vice-rector for science and innovation Elsever Asadov opened the conference and talked about the importance of the event. It was stated that such international level scientific events are an important platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of dentistry. In his speech, the vice-rector gave detailed information about the Medical campus to be established at the university according to the "State Program of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the socio-economic development of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for 2023-2027". He pointed out that in the planned new campus, in addition to modern medical teaching building, research hospital, student dormitory, building of medical college, etc., a separate educational building and dental clinic for Stomatology is planned. At the same time, on May 16-17, in the city of Samarkand, Republic of Uzbekistan, in which 35 universities from different countries of the world participated, he reminded that students of the Faculty of Medicine of the university were awarded high-level diplomas with their successful speeches at the "79th scientific-practical conference of students and young researchers".

       Chairman of Azerbaijan Public Union of Implantologists, Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine Jabbar Hasanov spoke at the event and spoke about the role of innovations in modern dentistry. It was emphasized that the conference is very important in terms of sharing the latest technologies and treatment methods applied in this field. Jabbar Hasanov added that such events are an important contribution to the scientific and professional development of both the academic staff and students. The first section was moderated by the head of the "Stomatology" chair of NSU, doctor of philosophy in medicine Rauf Jafarov and doctor and dentist Rashad Abishov. Professor Elchin Badaloglu, lecturer of the Chair of "Mouth, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery" of Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Dentistry, "Treatment methods used in the stages of surgery and prosthesis from simple to complex in full jaw rehabilitation in implantology", Dental technician Rafael Pashayev, "The importance of planning and communication in aesthetic restorations", Jabbar Hasanov, made a report on "All-on-4 and its application in appropriate situations".
