A new monograph in the field of theater studies was presented at NSU

The presentation of the monograph "School Theater" authored by Gulkhara Ahmadova, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor, Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Azerbaijan, head of the "Theatre and Cultural Studies" department, was held at the NDU Scientific Library.

 

Director of the Scientific Library, doctor of philosophy in philology, docent Khumar Mammadova, who opened the event with an introduction Mammadova recently appreciated the writing of books dedicated to the history of art and culture by university employees.

Later, dean of the Faculty of Arts, associate professor of the Chair of Fine Arts, Honored Artist of Nakhchivan MR ... Tofig Seyidov, teacher of the "Theatre and Cultural Studies" department, Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Seyyad Mammadov, director of the Nakhchivan State Puppet Theater named after M. T. Sidgi, Nurbeniz Niftaliyeva, director of the Nakhchivan State Children's Theater, Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and other speakers talked about the scientific and methodological importance of the monograph intended for theater scholars, researchers and a wide readership.

It is noted that the book, which consists of two chapters, talks about the characteristics of the development of Azerbaijani drama in the XIX-XX centuries, the creation and development of the national theater, the organization and development stages of the school theater. At the same time, the activity of the Student Theater Studio of Nakhchivan State University was highlighted in the monograph.
