"Last Call" at the Gymnasium under NSU: 94 percent of students scored above 200 points

The "Last Call" event was held at the English-oriented Gymnasium operating under Nakhchivan State University.

At the event, Nakhchivan State University vice-rector for social issues and public relations Nijat Yagubov congratulated graduates, parents and school staff on behalf of rector Elbrus Isayev. Nicat Yagubov said that special importance is given to the development of education in priority areas in our country. It is precisely under NSU that the English-language high school was opened within the framework of the implementation of the "State Program on the Socio-Economic Development of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for 2023-2027" signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Talking about the successes of the Gymnasium this year, the vice-rector said that 34 of the graduates scored over 200 points in the final exam at the full secondary level and achieved a result of 94%. The highest result recorded in the exams was 290 points. In total, 24 students were awarded certificates of distinction on secondary education. It was also emphasized that the Gymnasium has successful results at the level of general secondary education. In the graduation exam held in the 2024-2025 academic year, the student of the Gymnasium, Rugayya Huseynli, showed the maximum result and scored 300 points. At the same time, 47 of the 61 students who completed the general secondary education level were awarded certificates of distinction, and 58 students showed results above 200.   He said that the gymnasium was remembered for its success in education this year. He emphasized that 36 students graduated from the Gymnasium in the 2024-2025 academic year. 14 of them are boys and 22 are girls. Congratulating all the graduates, Nazim Rahimov added that diplomas were presented to all students who achieved high results in both the full secondary education level and the general secondary education level. Also, Nazim Rahimov noted that the 9th grade student of the Gymnasium who scored the highest -300 points and achieved the maximum results in the final exam held at the general secondary level of education was given a cash prize.

The event continued with musical numbers and dance compositions performed by graduates. At the end, traditionally, the last bell rang and the students were sent off to a new stage of their education.
