The delegation of NSU participated in the III International Medical Forum in Samarkand

On September 24-26, 2025, Samarkand State Medical University, Nakhchivan State University, Azerbaijan Medical University, Azerbaijan Society of Endoscopic-Laparoscopic Surgeons, with the participation of a number of universities, associations and societies of Turkic-speaking countries that provide medical education The III International Medical Forum was held in Samarkand, Republic of Uzbekistan.   justify">Up to 200 research scientists from more than 30 universities of different Turkic-speaking countries participated in the III Medical Forum. In addition to the section meetings held after the opening event of the conference, a number of surgical operations were traditionally performed by highly qualified doctors in accordance with the profile of the forum. Actions organized free of charge were conducted by medical teams from Azerbaijan and other Turkic-speaking countries.

One of the most important aspects of the conference was the implementation of live operations during the chair meetings and operation-based presentations to the conference participants.

Let us note that the Medical Forum, which was founded in 2022 at Nakhchivan State University, was held for the first time in Nakhchivan, and in 2024 at Yeditepe University in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey. After that, the forum continued its activities under the name of Turkish States Medical Forum.
