Rector of NSU Elbrus Isayev participated in the First Rectors' Forum between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan

On May 28-29, in the city of Andijan, in order to implement the tasks envisaged at the 13th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, and to expand relations in the field of science and higher education, Rectors held the First Topic "Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan: Priority directions in the development of cooperation in higher education" The forum was held.

The event was organized within the framework of the visit of the delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Idris Isayev to Uzbekistan. Heads of higher education institutions of both countries participated in the forum. 7.5pt 0cm">Speaking at the opening of the forum, Shahrukh Daliyev, the first deputy minister of higher education, science and innovations of Uzbekistan, and Idris Isayev, the deputy minister of science and education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, emphasized that the cooperation between the two countries in the field of science and higher education is developing on an upward line, and said that the forum will contribute to the expansion of inter-university partnerships and the promotion of joint projects. During the sessions, topics such as the creation of dual diploma programs, student and teacher exchange, joint scientific research and progress in international rankings were discussed.
