NDU was accepted as a new member of TURKUNIB

The meeting of the 8th General Assembly of the Union of Turkish Universities (TURKUNIB) was held on October 15 in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, hosted by Tashkent International University.

Rectors of more than 70 universities operating in Turkish countries took part.

The assembly At its 8th session, a total of 62 higher education institutions, including 13 universities of Azerbaijan, were accepted as new members of TURKUNIB.

Nakhchivan State University was among the 13 higher education institutions accepted as members of the Union.

Within the framework of the event, cooperation opportunities were discussed between member universities in the direction of harmonizing programs in the fields of science and education, increasing student and teacher exchanges, as well as organizing joint academic activities, projects and conferences, as well as holding competitions in the fields of culture, science and sports. At the session of the General Assembly, it was proposed to establish the permanent secretariat of TURKUNIB and the ORHUN exchange program fund. University, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Azerbaijan Technical University, Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University, Baku Higher Oil School, Baku Eurasian University, Lankaran State University, Odlar Yurdu University, Karabakh University and Khazar University.
