The Delegation of the West Azerbaijan Community for the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic held a meeting

Head of the Representation of the West Azerbaijan Community in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev held a meeting with a group of representatives of West Azerbaijanis settled in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Speaking at the meeting, Elbrus Isayev stressed that the issue of Western Azerbaijan is a priority for our state. He noted that under the leadership of Muzaffar Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev, Karabakh was liberated from the Armenian occupation, and there was great hope that West Azerbaijanis would return to their ancestral lands. Elbrus Isayev said that representatives were elected in Ordubad, Sadarak and Kangarli regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as for the city of Nakhchivan, and a project was prepared to promote the Concept of Return to West Azerbaijan in the international world and to convey the problems of West Azerbaijanis settled in Nakhchivan to the world community. The head of the Representation of the West Azerbaijan Community in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic noted the importance of strengthening the work of the Representation of the Republic of Azerbaijan with our compatriots of West Azerbaijani origin in the autonomous republic, writing memoirs based on their memories, studying their folklore, and preparing articles and speeches on television and in the press. He added that in order to regularly promote the truths of West Azerbaijan, a West Azerbaijan studio will be established at the University Television and a West Azerbaijan Center will be established at the University. The focus is on strengthening relations with the West Azerbaijan Community and West Azerbaijan Television. Alasgar Hagverdiyev, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the coordinator of the Delegation for MR, Susanbar Agamaliyeva, PhD in philology, participated in the meeting and exchanged opinions on the topic.
