Students got acquainted with the university environment at NSU

11th grade students of the English-oriented Gymnasium under NSU and other full secondary schools located in Nakhchivan visited Nakhchivan State University.

During the introduction, the applicants were given detailed information about the material and technical base of Nakhchivan State University, international relations, cooperation, specialization directions and laboratories. They got acquainted with the auditoriums of the faculties, the teaching and research environment that enables the application of practical knowledge, as well as other infrastructural opportunities.

NSU vice-rector for social issues and public relations Nicat Yagubov also gave detailed information to the applicants about the possibilities of the Faculty of Medicine. He said that both Azerbaijani and English languages ​​are taught at the faculty, and foreign professors from different universities of the world are involved in teaching and research. Nijat Yagubov also mentioned the university's active participation in international mobility programs. It was noted that through the Association of European Medical Students operating in Nakhchivan State University, opportunities are created for students to visit and experience 26 European countries.

Besides, it was brought to the attention of the students that students who scored above 600 points in the entrance exams and chose the first Nakhchivan State University in their specialty selection were given a monthly scholarship of 250 AZN and were provided with a dormitory free of charge.
