A scientific-practical conference was organized at Nakhchivan State University on the topic "The role of Ali Bey Huseynzade's socio-political activity in the formation of democratic thought in Azerbaijan". Orkhan Jafarov, the scientific secretary of the higher education institution, who opened the event on this occasion with an introductory speech, noted that the ideological and moral values of the Azerbaijani citizen, symbolized by the three colors on the national flag during the period of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, are Ali Bey Huseynzade's thesis and related to the historical services of fuzemen. It was brought to attention that A. The invaluable role of this great thinker, who made valuable contributions to the history of national education and pedagogical ideas of Azerbaijan, in the progress and awakening of the nation, in its cultural upliftment, in the education of the people, and in this way the fundamental principle of teaching in the mother tongue, was brought to the attention of the participants.
