Huseyn Razi's 100th birthday was celebrated at Nakhchivan State University

An event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the honored art worker, poet, dramatist Huseyn Razi was held in the Scientific Library of the higher education institution.  

Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev gave a speech and spoke about the importance of Huseyn Razin in the history of Azerbaijani literature and scientific thought. The rector said that Huseyn Razin's rich creativity is taught in the specialties of the University's Faculty of History and Philology. In literature classes, his works are widely taught, presented to students for research in diploma works and dissertation topics. At the same time, Rector Huseyn Razi was awarded with several medals and honorary degrees for his services in the literary and scientific field of the country. At the event, Elbrus Isayev proposed to publish a collection of articles written about Huseyn Razi in order to promote the poet's legacy more widely. This initiative will serve both to preserve the legacy of the great thinker and to pass it on to future generations.

Docent of the Chair of "Azerbaijani Literature" of Nakhchivan State University Khanali Karimli made a speech and mentioned his articles and five scientific research works about Huseyn Razi. He gave information about the bibliography prepared about Huseyn Razi and emphasized the writer's invaluable role in the fields of dramaturgy and journalism. title="Sadagat Hasanova profile">Sadagat Hasanova shared her thoughts about the great writer and talked about her place in the literary environment of Nakhchivan. He emphasized that the literary environment of Nakhchivan was formed starting from the 19th century, and the name of Huseyn Razin is first mentioned when we say modern literary environment. Then Sadagat Hasanova praised the poet's poetry and recited his selected poems.

Nakhchivan State University head teacher of "Azerbaijani literature" department Seyfeddin Eyvazov talked about the staging of Huseyn Razin's works. Then the students of the Azerbaijani language and literature teaching specialty of the Nakhchivan State University's Faculty of History and Philology celebrated the 100th anniversary of the outstanding poet Huseyn Razin they performed his selected poems within the dedicated event. At the end, Mammad Rzayev presented the writer's book "Life Paths" as a souvenir to the students.

At the end of the event, a poem by Huseyn Razin from the archive video was heard in his own language.
