Martyrs' families and veterans gave the first lesson to first-year students at Nakhchivan State University

First, the souls of our martyrs who died for the Motherland were commemorated with a minute of silence, followed by the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev noted that the memory of our heroes who rose to the height of martyrdom for the sake of the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan is always held high in the higher educational institution. It was reported that organizing meetings with families of martyrs and veterans at the university has already become a tradition. It was noted that the auditoriums dedicated to the memory of the students who rose to the height of martyrdom among university graduates, named after those heroes, were put into use. It was emphasized that the purpose of today's meeting  is to familiarize the students with the glorious life path of the martyrs. It was also noted that regularly holding such events at the university is a matter of pride for students, teachers and families of martyrs. He emphasized that parents of each martyr will instill the spirit of patriotism in young people by giving information about their child's war path and bravery.

At the event, the chairman of the "Nakhchivan Veterans" Public Union, veteran Jeyhun Bayramov noted that a clear example of the state care provided to veterans in the country is the continuous holding of veterans' meetings with young people at Nakhchivan State University. They called our youth to grow up in a national and patriotic spirit, to become educated personnel and to serve the state faithfully.
