A cooperation protocol with Sivas Republic University has been added to the international relations of Nakhchivan State University

For this purpose, at the bilateral meeting held at Nakhchivan State University, the rector of the higher education institution Elbrus Isayev greeted the rector of Sivas Republic University, professor Alim Yıldız and expressed his satisfaction to see him at the university. Elbrus Isayev gave information about the material and technical base of the university, existing faculties, colleges and International school. It was noted that the purposeful work carried out in the field of expansion of international relations, organization of effective cooperation with a number of prestigious higher education institutions of the world, integration into the global science and education space is bearing positive results. It was reported that about 2,000 foreign students from 10 countries are studying at the university, which maintains its leadership among Azerbaijan's higher education institutions in terms of the number of foreign students. The rector pointed out that the higher education institution has a unique place in the international relations of the Republic of Turkey.  Rector of Sivas Republic University, professor Alim Yıldız expressed his satisfaction with the high hospitality. The professor gave information about the available specialties and international relations at the university he leads. He noted the need for joint projects with NSU, especially teacher-student exchange, expansion of scientific research in various fields.  At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on issues of mutual interest. Then, a joint cooperation agreement was signed, which includes issues of mutual cooperation. Joint investigations and research issues were discussed. An agreement was reached between Sivas Republic Hospital and NDU Hospital on the exchange of experience. The memorandum will be initially valid for a period of five years and includes the principles of cooperation in the field of dual diploma program, exchange of students and teachers, educational programs, research and publishing works, joint studies in the field of master's and doctoral studies, exchange of scientists and specialists within the framework of agreed activities, ensuring the improvement of their professional skills, creating conditions for the implementation of research works in libraries and archives, holding seminars, symposiums, scientific conferences, meetings, seminars, cultural and sports competitions and exhibitions. At the same time, both universities in the field of ERASMUS signed an agreement on joint cooperation. At the end, mutual gifts were presented and a commemorative photo was taken.
