A meeting with parents was held at the International Cambridge School of Nakhchivan State University

A meeting was held with parents of newly admitted students at the International Cambridge School operating under Nakhchivan State University.

At the meeting, the rector of the university Elbrus Isayev touched on the importance of the "State Program for the socio-economic development of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic" covering the years 2023-2027 approved by President Ilham Aliyev. It was noted that within the framework of this program, the integration of Nakhchivan State University into the international education system and the expansion of modern teaching opportunities are envisaged. The creation of a school working with the Cambridge International Education System serves to increase the quality of education as part of this program.

In his speech, the rector said that a total of 80 students, 40 each in the 1st grade and 6th grade, have been admitted to the Cambridge International School for the 2024-2025 academic year. Elbrus Isayev noted that the school operates on the basis of the Cambridge International Education System and this teaching model has not yet been applied in other universities of our country. The rector congratulated the parents and emphasized that special attention will be paid to the education of the students and the necessary conditions for their development will be provided. At the same time, he said that the students will be provided with psychological support and various exercises will be held for this purpose. gave information about teaching laboratories, library, sports grounds and examination center. Bayram Aliyev also noted that 19 teachers are currently working at the school and their skills will be evaluated at the end of each month. Talking about the school's language policy, the director said that all teaching is conducted in English and teachers are required to score at least 6.5 points in the IELTS exam. In addition, students learn Azerbaijani and a second foreign language in the curriculum. English language exams and professional development opportunities will be created regularly for teachers.
