Within the framework of the DIRNA project, Nakhchivan State University organized a training on “Academic Integrity and Plagiarism Awareness” for academic staff and researchers. The training focused on promoting ethical research culture and responsible academic publishing practices within the university community.
During the session, participants were informed about the principles of academic integrity, plagiarism prevention methods, citation and referencing standards, as well as the use of Turnitin and other plagiarism detection tools. Discussions also highlighted the importance of ethical publishing practices in maintaining the quality and credibility of scientific research.
The training contributed to increasing awareness of academic ethics and strengthening responsible research and publication culture at the university.
