Nakhchivan State University Hosts Information Day on Institutional Repository System and Research Visibility

As part of the DIRNA project activities, Nakhchivan State University held an Information Day for academic staff dedicated to the opportunities offered by the institutional repository system. The event brought together researchers, lecturers, and faculty representatives to discuss how digital repositories can strengthen the international visibility of the University’s scientific output.

During the meeting, participants exchanged ideas on Open Access publishing, repository submission procedures, research visibility, and international academic recognition. Special attention was given to the growing role of repository systems in improving citation impact and supporting university rankings on international platforms.

The event attracted strong interest from academic staff and encouraged wider participation in repository-related activities, contributing to the development of a more open, accessible, and internationally connected research environment at the University.
