

Organized by Nakhchivan State University’s Technology Transfer and Innovation Sector in cooperation with the Azerbaijan Innovation Center, the two-day ideathon aimed to identify urban challenges and develop innovative solutions while enhancing students’ analytical thinking, teamwork, and technological skills. More than 70 students applied, and 41 students in 10 teams competed in the final stage. On the first day, participants received mentoring on idea development, entrepreneurship, project implementation, and presentation skills. On the second day, teams presented their innovative concepts to the jury, focusing on smart city solutions such as digital services, mobility, energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, urban infrastructure, smart parking, and smart healthcare. As a result of the competition, “Soft Nova” won first place, “InfraX” secured second place, and “T4C” took third place. The winning teams were awarded diplomas. The ideathon was organized as part of the deliverables of the ENGAGE Erasmus+ Project, contributing to the development of innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems at the university.
